A Goal: Living Gratefully

A Word from Curt at The Old House.

A word from Curt

As we approach Thanksgiving, my goal is to live gratefully.

Living Gratefully involves:

  1. Being aware of the people who make our lives so rich and returning this love to them.
  2. Realizing that every good gift we have comes from God and thanking Him.
  3. Having a grateful heart and therefore cutting others slack.

4. Remembering that Thanksgiving is not a day, but an attitude.

Here are events and locations to get your copy of As the Crow Flies as well as our other twelve Creekbank books.

Thursday, Nov. 16 PM . I’ll be speaking to a group of retired military pilots, The Order of the Daedalians. My subject will be “How Louisiana Helped Win the War” and I’ll be using my novel, A Spent Bullet, as the basis for my presentation

Grant Christmas Tree Farm

I’ll be the greeter at my favorite Christmas season destination, Grant Christmas Tree Farm.

There is no better place to step back in time and get into the Christmas spirit than Grant.  It’s much more than buying a Christmas tree. It’s an experience for the entire family.  Put it on your calendar and bring the whole crew.

I’ll be greeting and signing my books on these dates:

Friday, November 24*

Saturday, November 25*

Sunday, November 26 (afternoon only)

Saturday, December 2

Saturday, December 9

  • These are high attendance days at Grant and I encourage you to arrive early early early if you don’t want to stand in line for all of the events and tree buying.
