Persistence

This is Creekbank Stiories Blog post #1850.

Wow!

You can read any (or all) of our  blogs dating back to 2006.

Whew!

I don’t claim to be a great writer, but I’m a persistent one.

Perseverance is an asset of any published author.

I’m not the best, but I know how to begin a project and muddle through until completion.

I don’t quit, and I’m humbled and grateful to have the privilege of writing blogs and books.

18 books.

1850 blog posts.

I have this obsession to finish a book.

There are several times in the process of writing where any writer wants to throw a book in the trash.

Sadly, many authors do.

I plod on, remembering that these “Seasons” are part of the journey.

I look in the mirror and say: “Curt, if you don’t write this, no one will.”

I open my laptop and get back to work.

It keeps me humble and determented.

That’s a good combination.

Writing,

Curt Iles
