An Odyssey is a Journey

An Odyssey is a journey.

. . . and the most memorable stories involve a journey.

Sometimes, it’s a journey of the feet.

Other times, it’s a journey of the heart.

The best stories involve both.

My tagline for Creekbank Stories is “Every journey has a story.”

Yesterday, I saw the movie, “The Odyssey.”  It is an epic rendition of one of the most ancient poems (of the same name) by the Greek poet Homer.

I’ve never been  man enough to finish the 500 page (or is it 500 pounds.)

But I was compelled (out of curiosity and love of history) to see the movie.

Today, on this blog and our Curt Iles FB page, we’ll discuss the story, the characters, and the actors.

I’ll share my thoughts. I’m most interested in yours.
