Quote for your day: You will treat people and relationships differently when you know you are going to reap the harvest in a later season.  -Priscilla Shirer

I’m reminded of the words of “Sparky” Anderson, longtime manager of the Cincinnati Reds during the “Big Red Machine” days: “It

don’t even cost a nickel to be nice to somebody.”

Scripture for today: Be ye kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.” (Ephesians 4:32)

Proverbs for the day: The sluggard says, “There is a lion outside! I shall be killed in the streets.”  Proverbs 22:13

This verse reminds me of two things:

1. People will find an excuse to do (or not do) anything in life.

2. An adage: “There’s no one harder to work with than a man who doesn’t want to work.”
