  1. Love the fact you are talking about the long-leaf pine. Such a part of Louisiana that many don’t even know about. Mostly know about the Cajun culture. When moved from DeRidder/Rosepine south of I-10 many looked at me like I was crazy when I asked where the pines were. First trip to a Christmas Tree Farm, I told my husband we could go “home” and get all the pines we wanted.
