Book Event in Alexandria, LA Feb. 25 Hastings Books

We are excited about our upcoming book event in Alexandria, LA on Feb. 25

Notice, we didn’t say “book signing” although that will be part of the festivities from 2:00-5:00 PM.

Hastings Books is an excellent book venue located in MacArthur Village near the junction of Jackson St Extension and MacArthur Drive.

Store manager Lucas, Book manager Lauren and their staff are great to work with and we look forward to a fun afternoon.  Here’s the tentative schedule:

2:00 PM Children’s time   Curt will read from Uncle Sam: A Horse’s Tale

3:00  How Louisiana Helped Win the War:  Thoughts on the 1941 Louisiana Army Maneuvers as seen in A Spent Bullet.

4:00  Calling all Kids: Illustrator Jade Ross and graphic designer Julian Quebedeaux will read from Uncle Sam.

5:00   Reading from A Spent Bullet and recognition of all WWII vets and their families.

All ten of our Creekbank books will be available for purchase and autographing.

Contact Hastings Books Alexandria or Curt at http://www.creekbank.net for more info.
