Each Sunday we share prayer needs.

Here are three priorities for this week:

  1. Today (July 10) I am sharing about missions at Cold Springs Baptist Church. I’ll be with our lifetime friend, Wade Carroll.  Pray for clarity and passion as I share.
  2. I’m focusing for the month of July on revising As the Crow Flies. This novel follows up A Good Place and The Wayfaring Stranger.  On Tuesday (July 12) I’m meeting at the scene of the 1881 Westport Fight to hear stories from locals and those who had family involved on either side of the feud.  I’m excited about hearing stories. Pray that if there’s any healing still needed from this tragedy, that God will lead it, and I’ll be an instrument of His peace.
  3. Pray for our colleague JD Hull.   JD, whom we mentored in 2015, is in South Sudan.  There’s been trouble in the country over the weekend.  Also pray for Louisiana natives Shannon and Carrie Lewis who are also in country.
