“It’s all about hope . . .” “When you’ve got hope, you can handle anything. If you’ve lost hope, there’s not much else to stand on.”
-Front flyleaf from my fourth book, “Hearts Across the Water.”
“Hearts” is about three life-shaking events in 2005.
The earthquake/tsunami that devastated a part of Indonesia.
I went there with a Baptist medical team 90 days after the disaster.
I wrote about what I saw.
The next two events were much closer to home.
The twin hurricanes, Katrina, and Rita, changed my hometown of Dry Creek, Louisiana.
Each in different ways,
Once again, I wrote about what I saw and experienced.
More on that later.
2005 changed my life. “Hearts” is my attempt to capture those stories from my journals.
“Hearts Across the Water” is now available in e-book and paperback at Amazon/ Curt Iles Books.
