A Day in Dry Creek at The Old House

A view of The Old House kitchen from the Swamp (West) side.

I’m part owner of a log cabin built in 1892.

We call the log room and additional rooms added through the years, the Old House.

It was built by my great great grandparents on land they homesteaded.

I’m part of the fifth generation to own this homestead.

Let me rephrase that: we don’t own the Old House; it owns us.

Today is my weekly “Dry Creek Mental Health Day.”

There’s always more at The Creek.
