A Few Thoughts to Chew On: Sleep and More

I’m making notes to remind myself of some truths

NOTES TO MYSELF

On Sleep

“Fatigue makes a coward of us all.”

“Sometimes the most spiritual thing you can do is take a nap.”

I’ve found that one of the keys to my mental health is getting enough sleep and rest.

In our modern age of electricity (our ancestors went to bed early) and screens, it is so easy to forgo proper rest.

We will pay for it the next day.

Our body and mind will pay for it for a lifetime if we ignore sleep.

I’m not talking about going to bed with the chickens, but getting 7-8 hours of sleep nightly consistently is a key to a proper outlook on life.
